About Us
Roe Angling Ltd. has been in existence, in one form or another, for more than fifty years. It was originally named Roe Angling Association, an amalgamation of the Limavady club and Dungiven Angling Club. In 2012 the association became a limited company. Its aim is to provide quality angling on the River Roe for its members and visitors alike.
The company controls fishing on the river with the exception of DAERA water at the lower end of the Roe Valley Country Park and Carrickmore fishery which operates as a private club.
We are members of the Foyle Association of Salmon and Trout Anglers (FASTA). We also have a good working relationship with Loughs Agency (LA) which supports the club in its enhancement and protection activities.
In the recent past the club has directed considerable resources to maintaining and improving the habitat for fish stocks. Thanks to this work the Loughs Agency has consistently rated the river as one of the best rivers in the Foyle system for migratory fish; a position we are working hard to maintain.
